Ever since I saw Harry Metcalfe’s videos on YouTube talking about FuoriConcorso on the side of Lake Como, I’ve wanted to attend. FuoriConcorso, they say, is “an event series creating memorable moments of Automotive Culture connecting and enriching enthusiasts around the world”. This year’s video was the decider, so I worked out roughly which weekend it might be in 2027 and I’ve booked accordingly.
We will be staying at the Hotel Villa Flori and wandering up and down between the various villas to see the cars and enjoy the spectacle. We’ll also be taking in the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este whilst we’re there.
Obviously, we couldn’t take a mere Ford, so we’ll instead be taking the Abarth home to Italy and travelling via Switzerland too.
That’s roughly the route we’ll be taking.
